Born and raised in Hong Kong, Ted's relationship with photography started when he first picked up a camera in secondary school.
Ted slowly learnt photography using father's Nikon F-401X and volunteering as a school photographer.
Then came the drought. Ted was sent to boarding school in London while his camera stayed in Hong Kong.
However, on his 18th birthday, he took this photo of a snowball fight at school with his refurbished Nokia. That's when Ted truly fell in love with the medium.
Ted soon returned to Hong Kong to continue his higher education and continued making photographs.
With a D-SLR he received from his parents, Ted began to take images from his travels around the world. Capturing beautiful moments he is lucky enough to witness.
His passion for exploration takes him from the island of Tasmania to the top of Africa.
More recently, Ted has been experimenting with the analogue format and working on personal projects. This has added another dimension to his latest works.
